Imagine being a corporal during the assault of Russia in 1941, where you either need to lead your German forces to victory or play as Russia and defend your country from being invaded. In 1941 Frozen Front, you need to choose the right warfare tactics and get promoted to the highest rank of Commander during the gold and desolate war between Germany and Russia. 1941 Frozen Front has been developed and successfully released by game developer HandyGames, and is very popular among strategy game enthusiasts. The game has been downloaded over a whopping number of five million times with a rating of 4.0 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. 1941 Frozen Front is free to download and play on both Android and iOS devices and does not require an internet connection to play.
At the beginning of 1941 Frozen Front, you will go through several tutorial missions, which teaches you how to properly play the game, how to move your soldiers and tanks and how to successfully complete the objectives of a mission. The goal in 1941 Frozen Front is use battle tactics and successfully annihilate enemy troops, tanks and buildings. The game consists a single player game mode with two different campaigns, which are the Russian and German campaigns, and the multiplayer game mode, where you are able to battle against random players around the world. Each campaign in the single player game mode consists of a lot of missions, and every mission has its own objectives, which you need to successfully complete, in order to be able to progress through the game.
1941 Frozen Front is a turn-based game, which means that you need to make a move, after which your opponent will be able to make a move. Once you are in the range of enemy units, you will be able to attack them with your troops. When you attack an enemy unit, you will also get attacked back by it, which causes damage to your unit. The same thing happens when an enemy unit attacks you, which also makes your troops attack back. You successfully win when you have destroyed all enemy units on the world map.
The world map consists of an HEX grid, which shows you how far you are able to move with your units and how far your unit’s reach is. You can either play 1941 Frozen Front defensively or aggressively, depending on which kind of playstyle you enjoy more. For example, you are able to barricade your troops and tanks by making them place sandbags. This will increase the defense of your troops, and will allow them to take more damage, before they are taken down.
You will also be able to resupply and repair your own units, by spending in-game gold. If you find an unoccupied bunker on the world map, you will be able to take it over with your soldiers, giving you a strategic defensive building in the game. The basic units in 1941 Frozen Front are the soldiers and the tanks. However, you are also able to call support, which gives you artillery units, warplane units and even supply trucks.

There is only one kind of currency in 1941 Frozen Front, which is in the form of gold. You can easily obtain gold by simply playing the game, taking down enemy soldiers and tanks and successfully completing levels. You can use your gold to gain an advantage over the enemy during your gameplay. For example, you will be able to repair your tanks during a battle, by using your gold. You will also be able to resupply your soldiers and tanks, by spending gold and purchasing them in a supply depot. Once you start progressing through the game, it will be quite difficult to maintain a steady supply of gold, because you will be forced to use more of them during your battles, and you will not earn any gold if you keep losing.
Luckily, you can purchase in-game gold in the in-game story with real money, if you wish to do so. The price for in-game gold starts at $9,99 for the smallest amount of 60.000 in-game gold and goes up till $99,99 for the largest amount of 700.000 in-game gold. 1941 Frozen Front is littered with advertisements, be it banners or pop-ups. It is fortunate that the developers give you the option to remove said advertisements, by paying $3,99 for it.
1941 Frozen Front Cheats & Tips
There are a lot of websites that claim they have working cheat tools, hack tools or modifications for 1941 Frozen Front, which you can allegedly use to give yourself an unlimited amount of gold. The websites claim that you the tools will modify the game files on your mobile device, however, they do not tell you how it works and what gets changed. The problem with websites that offer such tools is that they are only out to earn money off of unknowing people, by making them fill in surveys or click on advertisements. The owners of such websites earn a lot of money, just by making people believe that they will be able to cheat in their favorite mobile games.
The owners of the fake cheat tool websites know that people are willing to do a lot of things, just to be able to get their hands on a working cheat tool. That’s why they hide the so called cheat tools behind surveys, which you need to fill in, before you can even start downloading the so called cheat tools. Once you have filled in a survey and downloaded the so called cheat tool, you will quickly find out that you have been duped, and that the files you just downloaded are nothing but empty shells. However, you might also have downloaded some nasty viruses onto your computer, which is very annoying. Instead of wasting your time and potentially risking your computer with a virus infection, I will give you some tips and tricks for 1941 Frozen Front, which will help you during your gameplay.
1941 Frozen Front Gameplay Tips and Tricks
The developers of 1941 Frozen Front have implemented a lot of advertisements into the game, which come in the form of banners and pop-ups. The advertisements in 1941 Frozen Front are very annoying, which has been done on purpose by the developers, so that people will spend $3,99 to remove all of the advertisements in the game. Luckily, I know a little cheat that will remove all of the advertisements in 1941 Frozen Front, without you having to pay a single penny. Unfortunately, by using this little cheat, you will not be able to play in the multiplayer game mode of the game. For starters, you need to make sure that 1941 Frozen Front is completely closed down and is also not running in the background.
Once you made sure the game is closed down completely, you can continue by turning on Airplane Mode on your mobile device. Airplane Mode disconnects your mobile device from any incoming internet connection, be it Wi-Fi or 3G/4G. When you start playing 1941 Frozen Front now, you will quickly notice that there are no more advertisements in the game. This is due to the fact that 1941 Frozen Front needs an internet connection, in order to be able to push advertisements onto your mobile device. Once you are done playing 1941 Frozen Front, you can turn off Airplane Mode and use your mobile device as you have been before.
1941 Frozen Front Review
Before I started playing 1941 Frozen Front, I had a vague idea what the game would be about and what kind of gameplay it would have. I read the game description and looked at the screenshots, which pulled me towards playing the game. At the beginning of the gameplay, there is a very nicely build tutorial, which teaches you how to properly play the game. You will also learn how to use the controls and how to use different kinds of battle tactics. Once the tutorial is over, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but luckily there are a ton of different single player levels. There is even a multiplayer game mode, which is a very positive aspect, in my opinion. I really like the fact that 1941 Frozen Front is historically accurate, and shows a different side to World War Two. I also really like the fact that you are able to play as either the Germans or as the Russians, which adds a sense of diversity to the game.
Another very positive aspect about 1941 Frozen Front is the fact that the developers did not implement any kind of playtime limitations into the game. This means that you will not face any energy bars, lives or timers while you are playing 1941 Frozen Front, and you will be able to play the game whenever you want, for however long you want. This is very important for a lot of players, including myself, because whenever I play a game, I would like to be able to explore all of its features, without getting limited by annoying playtime limitations.
Unfortunately, 1941 Frozen Front also has several negative aspects. For starters, the developers of 1941 Frozen Front have littered the game with annoying and obstructive advertisements. Normally, it is understandable when free-to-play games have advertisements in them, because of the fact that the developers are supposed to earn some money for their time and effort. However, the developers of 1941 Frozen Front went a little overboard, and have implemented both banner and pop-up advertisements into the game. It feels like they have done this on purpose, just to make force people into spending $3,99 on the game, in order to remove the advertisements. This makes 1941 Frozen Front feel like a cheap cash grab, and it reflects very poorly on the developers of the game.
The second negative aspect about 1941 Frozen Front is that the game is basically pay-to-win. Whenever you decide to play against a random player around the world, and that particular player has spent money to purchase in-game gold, you will quickly find out that you are being outmatched. This is due to the fact your opponent will be able to call in air support and land support, will be able to repair his tanks and resupply his units way more often than you could. This quickly leads to a very unfair battle, and is very annoying, especially if you enjoy playing 1941 Frozen Front. Perhaps the developers could implement a reward system, which rewards loyal players with gold and allow them to face paying opponents.

The only thing I would like to see changed in 1941 Frozen Front, is to see all of the units change direction, whenever they are being moved.
Music & SFX: I give 1941 Frozen Front an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several different soundtracks and sound effects in 1941 Frozen Front, and they are of very high quality. Story & Originality: I give 1941 Frozen Front a 9/10 for its story and originality. I have played a lot of mobile games over the years, but I have never played a strategic game like 1941 Frozen Front before. The developers did a very good job at implementing their own original and creative ideas and game mechanics into the game, which also made the gameplay very entertaining and enjoyable. There are several stories in 1941 Frozen Front as well, depending on which side you choose to play as. I really like the fact that 1941 Frozen Front is historically accurate and you can play as the Germans and Russians, which really enhances the gameplay.
General Gameplay: I give 1941 Frozen Front a 7/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in 1941 Frozen Front starts with a tutorial, in which you learn how to use the controls, how to move your units, how to attack enemy units and how to successfully complete the objectives of a mission. Once the tutorial is over, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but thankfully, there are a lot of different missions and campaigns in 1941 Frozen Front. The gameplay in 1941 Frozen Front is very entertaining, especially if you enjoy war and strategic games. It is also very nice that the game is historically accurate, which is important for a World War Two game. It is unfortunate that there are so many annoying and obstructive advertisements in 1941 Frozen Front, which pretty much ruined the gameplay for me.
Addictiveness: I give 1941 Frozen Front a 7/10 for addictiveness. It is very nice to see that there are still games out there that do not have any kind of playtime limitations in it. For example, you do not have an energy bar, timer or lives in 1941 Frozen Front, which means that you can play the game whenever you want and for however long you want. This is very important for me, and for a lot of other players, because it allows them to sink a lot of hours into the game. Even though 1941 Frozen Front is pretty addictive, it is unfortunate that the game is littered with so many annoying and obstructive advertisements. This also ruins the addictiveness of the game, because not everyone is able to pay $3,99 to remove the advertisements from the game.
All things considered, I give 1941 Frozen Front an 8/10.
